Liver Cancer is cancer in the liver cells. Your liver is an organ about the size of a football and is located in the upper right quadrant of your abdomen, below your diaphragm, and above your belly. More cancers spread to the liver than cancer that starts in liver cells. Cancer that starts in another part of the breast, such as the colon or lungs, and then spreads to the liver is called metastatic cancer rather than liver cancer.
